Earthing Our Soles, Solstice Celebration
Solstice Earth Mandala, Anam Dance & Stories with our Wisdom Keeper (great for kids 5+)
Community Village is joining forces with our friends at the Center at Orchard Hill to align with the Solstice light, when it casts few shadows. When the fire in the sky is at its peak, we celebrate all the beauty of nature's gifts, kiss the earth and let our soles engage more fully in the dance of life. Camping and lodging available a half-hour a way for those who may be traveling.
Saturday, June 20 @ The Center at Orchard Hill in Alstead, NH
1 pm: Earth Mandala Creation
======================
In Field behind Garden
Every year, Community Village begins its preparations for our annual ceremonial gathering September 25 - 27/28 with gratitude to the land, elemental and spiritual allies that encircle us, the sacred fire and sacred heartbeat of Mother Earth. This ceremony is open to all, including children.
Bringing stones, flowers, corn meal and offerings from the natural world, we create a magical portal of sacred geometry and connect to the heart of creation, natural world and activate our connection to the sacred web of life. We take time to meditate, listen for guidance and step into our ancestral intelligence that opens the way.
Please bring: Stones, Flowers, Earth Offerings that call to you. Also welcome are things from your pantry that may no longer serve people like spices, beans, rice.

2 pm: Anam Dance: A Summer Solstice Celebration
=====================================
In Great Room
At the height of light, when the sun lingers and the earth hums with fullness, we gather for Anam Dance—a soulful journey into movement, connection, and elemental rhythm.
Rooted in the wisdom of the body and inspired by Celtic tradition, Anam Dance invites you to step into a living relationship with the elements—earth beneath your feet, water moving gently through your body, fire igniting your spirit, and air guiding your breath.
This is not choreography, but a remembering. A return to the body’s innate intelligence, where movement becomes medicine. As we honor the Summer Solstice, we dance the energy of expansion, vitality, and illumination. Through guided exploration and free expression, you’ll be supported in releasing what no longer serves and embodying what is ready to emerge.
Together, we co-create a space where creativity flows, the mind softens, and the soul speaks. Come as you are. Leave more fully yourself. Please bring $15 cash in exchange.

3:30: Wisdom Keeper Stories for Growth
===============================
In Field behind Garden
Algonquin - French Grandmother Nancy Andre will share insightful stories that celebrate the goodness of this time of year steeped in earth-based teachings & embodied spirituality. Nourishing for both parents and children, this will be a time for Grandmother Nancy to share earth-centered teachings with the children that includes how Solstice fits into the greater cycles of the year. Since Solstice is a time of imbalance, with the people of the North receiving an over-abundance of heat and light; and, the people of the South retreating inward into their inner-fires, with greater access to the invisible ones at their height of communication, this circle around the Earth Mandala brings an elemental balance. We will take a moment to build intentional bridges through the time, space and the elements to infuse the greater collective and honor the water for it's grounded movements upon Earth.
Please bring a cash donation of any amount to help us gift our traveling elder.

Community VIllage @ The Center at Orchard Hill
September 25 - 27/28
Our mission is to create inter-generational gatherings rooted in ancient wisdom, aimed at revitalizing earth-based community through traditionally inspired healing ceremonies, councils, rites of passage and the sacred arts.
By creating a community that invites indigenous elders to share their wisdom in sacred ceremony, we can better embody their teachings as individuals, families, and communities healing ourselves and our world for future generations.

Honey Temple is a multi-day ritual gathering devoted to reviving a culture of Goddess remembrance. Through drum, voice, movement, ritual trance, and nourishment, women enter a living temple to metabolize emotions, awaken eros, and restore embodied belonging. Rooted in ancient feminine mystery traditions and held with spacious flow, the Honey Temple offers a place to be held, fed, and woven back into the collective web, leaving renewed, resourced, and reconnected to sisterhood, the living earth, and the indomitable pulse of life itself.
